Regional Arts Apprenticeship Program
TheRegional Arts Apprenticeship Program is a practical professional skills development opportunity, with our Artist in Residence mentoring emerging artists through hands on workshops and on-site sculpture installation.
Regional arts students or graduates are invited to apply to work with Alex Sanson in the development of his new work Cradle that will launch the Pyrenees Sculpture Park and Sculpture Trail project in November 2018. The program will include all aspects involved with planning, building and installing a giant installation sculpture work in an outdoor setting.
Successful applicants must be available to attend various sessions through the year in Alex’s workshop, located 2 hours from Melbourne. As well as attend all safety briefings and be available to work onsite for the duration the sculpture installation.
Local artists/students from the Pyrenees and Ballarat areas are encouraged to apply.
